How does the cylinder work?
- 490 litres of compressed gaseous oxygen is contained in a portable 2 litre cylinder.
- The portable 2 litre cylinder allows users to accurately select varying flow rates as indicated by the Healthcare Professional.
- The portable cylinder has a quick connect fitting that can be used with a low flow regulator for paediatric applications.
- On a continuous flow rate of 2 litres per minute the cylinder will last approximately 4 hours.
Typical user profile for the cylinder
- The portable cylinder can deliver flow rates between 0.5 – 15 litres per minute on a continuous flow.
- The portable cylinder is typically used for adults on flow rates of up to 15 litres per minute and for paediatrics on micro flow and low flow rates of 0.01 - 1 litre per minute.
- The portable cylinder is ideal for users who may need to get out and about occasionally.
